The Consortium...

The Western New York School Counselor Consortium is an organization whose sole purpose is the facilitation of professional development opportunities and the creation of a sharing network for school counselors across the region from Syracuse to Buffalo and from Lake Ontario through the Southern Tier.

The Consortium is made up of educational and professional organizations that support professional development activities for school counselors here in Western New York. Currently, the Consortium is made up of:

Counselor of the Year Award Recipients

Each year at the Conference (beginning at the Conference in January 2006) the Consortium honors one counselor from the Western New York area for exemplifying the role as we define it in the profession. The individual we select is a professional leader, mentor, and tireless contributor to the lives of students, educators and the community. Here is our list to date:
